I used to offer my initial evaluation of an inventor’s idea for free, giving them a basic idea of how I would build their prototype and a cost; however the process of going through the details, making a design, researching parts and materials, and forming a solution takes many hours of my time.  After going through this process a few times without the inventor proceeding any further, it made me realize I needed to begin charging for this time.

How this works is, on the Order Services page there are two options (listed below as well), just pick which service you want and then click “buy now” button.   

For the Prototype Service: You will pay the initial fee for me to spend time evaluating your idea.  Along with your payment, you’ll give me your email address.  I will then email you a non-disclosure agreement that has been signed by me (to protect your idea in this process).  After receiving the non-disclosure agreement, you would then email me a complete description of your idea along with any pictures or sketches you have that might help (I can work with just text descriptions as well).  I will get back to you with any questions I might have or just to make sure I’m clear on what you want to have designed or built.  At that point I will take some time to think and do research and come up with a solution.  I will then send you my thoughts along with a quote for what it will cost to build your prototype.  If you choose to proceed with having me build the prototype, I will email you pictures and video during the building process.

For the Business & Website Service: Along with your payment, you’ll give me your email address.  I will then email you a non-disclosure agreement that has been signed by me (to protect your idea in this process).  After receiving the non-disclosure agreement, you would then email me a complete description of your product along with any pictures or sketches you have that might help (I can work with just text descriptions as well).  I will then email you some questions that will give me the info I need to determine what documents you’ll need for forming your business.  Once you’ve answered the questions, I will send you the instructions and documents for forming your business, and I’ll begin work on creating your website.  Once the website is launched I’ll turn the website keys over to you and wish you good fortune!  Click here to see our previous customer's experiences.
